FBT is payable on this benefit, but you will be eligible for a 47% rebate.1 Generally, it's tax-effective if you earn $120,000 or more a year, and you will be entitled to salary package a maximum of $15,900 in everyday living expenses each FBT year. 1 The current FBT rebate is 47% of the gross FBT payable, (subject to a cap of $30,000).
