A novated lease example.

Another reason Pamela chose a novated lease? It’s one of the most cost-effective ways to buy and run a car. Because most of your car finance and running costs come out of your pre-tax income – including registration, insurance, fuel, and maintenance – you save on GST and tax. This means your new car barely makes a dent in your take-home pay. “I don’t even notice the difference,” Pamela says.
Not long after leasing her new car, Pamela hit an unexpected snag – it was damaged due to an accident and needed repairs. Even then, Smart took care of everything.
“It was all sorted out by Smart,” says Pamela. That included everything from handling the insurance claim to organising the repairs. “My car had to be towed, and I was given a replacement car while my car was fixed. No issues. Everything was really smooth.”
