Australian Open 2026 / Mastercard Prize Giveaway – EML Partnered (“PROMOTION”) TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Information on how to enter this promotion and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions of entry (“Terms and Conditions”). Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions as set out below. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid. Headings in this document are included for ease of reference and do not affect interpretation in any way.

Eligibility
- Any person who enters the Promotion is an “Entrant”. Valid entry is open to Australian residents, and they must be 18 years of age or over. Employees of eligible Australian businesses who provide salary packaging through Smart or AccessPay, and who are entitled to the meals and living expenses benefit. Existing salary packaging card holders are not eligible for the competition.
Employees of NSW Health are not eligible for this offer. (“Eligible Entrants”).
- Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, prize provider(s), and any other agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter and shall not be deemed Eligible Entrants. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de- facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.
- By participating, the Entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- The promotion, titled Smart & AccessPay Australian Open Competition (“Promotion”), is a trade promotion conducted by the Promoter to incentivise new card applications.
Promotional Period
- The Promotion will commence at 12:00PM on 27 October 2025 and will close at 12:00PM on 17 November 2025 (the “Promotional Period”). No entries will be accepted after this time.
- Except as otherwise stated, all times are Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT).
Entry Requirements
- To be eligible to enter:
Entrants of Smart customers must go to www.smart.com.au/salary-packaging/salary-packaging-card/, complete all required fields in the sign up form and apply for a salary packaging card within the promotion period.
Entrants of AccessPay customers must go to https://accesspay.com.au/salary-packaging-card/, complete all required fields in the sign up form and apply for a salary packaging card within the promotion period.
Limited to 1 entry per person only.
Prize(s) and Prize Redemption
- This is a game of chance and winning Entries of Eligible Entrants will be selected at random (“Prize Draw”).
- Ten Eligible Entrants will be drawn from the Prize Draw to win the Prize(s) as set out below (“Winner(s)”). Each Eligible Entrant is only eligible for winning one (1) Prize during the Promotional Period irrespective of number of entries.
- The Prize Draw will be conducted at the promotors’ premises (“Drawer”), Darling Park Tower 2, 201 Sussex Street, Sydney NSW 2000 at 12:00PM on 19 November 2025, in the presence of an independent scrutineer. The Drawer may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order, in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn.
- Attempts will be made to notify the winners by phone call and via email within two (2) days of the draw. A minimum of three (3) attempts will be made to contact the Winners. Winners will be deemed provisional winners, until verified.
- If the Promoter, having used reasonable efforts, is unable to contact the winner, then the prize is forfeited, and an alternative winner will be selected at random via the unclaimed prize draw. If a winner is deemed invalid or ineligible, the Promoter will revert to a reserve entry drawn.
- The Promoters' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Winners’ details (first initial and surname) will be published online at www.smart.com.au/salary-packaging/salary-packaging-card/ by 21 November 2025.

- The first valid entry drawn will win a Mastercard Priceless Package to the Australian Open 2026 for two (2) adults (“Major Prize”) = up to $30,000. Each major prize includes:
- Two (2) x return domestic economy airfares from winner’s nearest Australian capital city to Melbourne (only provided if the winner does not reside in VIC)
- Two (2) nights’ twin-share 5-star accommodation in Melbourne
- Two (2) Rod Laver Arena, Women’s Final tickets to the Australian Open on Saturday, 31 January 2026
- Two (2) x passes to Australian Open Finals behind-the-scenes tour (includes privileged access to player facilities and private areas not open to the public)
- The next four (4) valid entries drawn will each win one (1) Mastercard Prepaid Gift Card valued at $250 (“Minor Prize”).
AccessPay Entrants:
- The first valid entry drawn will win a Mastercard Priceless Package to the Australian Open 2026 for two (2) adults (“Major Prize”) = up to $30,000. Each major prize includes:
- Two (2) x return domestic economy airfares from winner’s nearest Australian capital city to Melbourne (only provided if the winner does not reside in VIC)

- The Winner is responsible for paying all additional costs associated with the Prize that are not specifically included, including (where applicable) transport, meal costs, spending money.
- If any nominated guest is under the age of 18 years of age (“Underage Person”), a nominated parent/guardian must accompany the Underage Person for the full duration of the Prize. The Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.

Major Prize: Mastercard Priceless Package to the Australian Open 2026
- Travel must be taken on Friday 30th January, 2026 to Sunday 1st February, 2026 to coincide with The Australian Open Women’s Finals 2026. If the winner is unavailable or unwilling to travel on the dates required by the Promoter, they will forfeit their right to the prize and will not be awarded cash or any other alternative in lieu.
- Travel itinerary will be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
- Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.
- The winner and their companion must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together.
- Subject to the terms and conditions of the participating prize provider(s), if for any reason the winner does not, once the prize has been booked, take the prize (or an element of the prize) at the time stipulated, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.
- The prize is subject to booking and flight availability.
- Frequent flyer points will not be awarded and do not form part of the prize.
- Spending money, meals, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), insurance, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs, unless otherwise specified in the prize description, are not included.
- The winner may be required to present their credit card at check in.
- During the entire duration of the prize, a nominated parent/guardian must accompany any person under 18 years of age.
- All Australian Open tickets are issued subject to the Australian Open Ticket Conditions of Sale and Entry 2026 (which can be found online at https://www.tennis.com.au/doc/ao26-ticket-conditions-of-sale-and-entry).
Minor Prizes: Mastercard Physical Gift Card
Mastercard Prepaid Management Services Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 47 145 452 044, AFSL 386837) arranges for the issue of the Mastercard Gift Card in conjunction with the issuer, EML Payment Solutions Limited ('EML') ABN 30 131 436 532, AFSL 404131 (“Issuer”) pursuant to a license by Mastercard Asia/Pacific Pte Ltd. - Total prize pool value is $62,000 AUD. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
- A draw for any unclaimed prizes will take place on 3 December 2025 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners, if any, will be notified by phone and in writing by email within two (2) days of the draw and their details (first initial and surname) will be published online at www.smart.com.au/salary-packaging/salary-packaging-card/ on 5 December 2025.
- All references to amounts in dollars under these Terms and Conditions are references to the Australian Dollar (AUD).
Other Conditions
- Winner Participation in Promotional Activities:
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in reasonable promotional activities related to the competition and Smartgroup’s marketing initiatives. This may include, but is not limited to, interviews, photo or video shoots, social media content, and public relations opportunities. The winner grants Smartgroup the right to use their name, likeness, voice, and any content created during such activities for promotional purposes in any media without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
- Any cost associated with accessing the Promotion website is the Entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the internet provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an Entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all Entries submitted by that Entrant invalid.
- Entrants must retain their original purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase.
- The Promoter, reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Entrants (including an Entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
- If there is a dispute as to the identity of an Entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the Entrant.
- Incomplete, indecipherable or illegal Entries from Eligible Entrants will be deemed invalid.
- In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic or any other kind of disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend, substitute or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
- Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take/ redeem a prize (or an element of the prize) at/by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited.
- Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Promotional Period, it is the entrant’s sole responsibility to notify the Promoter.
- The Promoter will not be held responsible for the Winners and/or guests not taking advantage of the prize due to health or any other reason.
- Sale, transfer or exchange of any part of a Prize is strictly prohibited. Any attempt to sell, transfer or exchange any part of the Prize will result in the Prize being withdrawn by the Promoter and the Prize will be declared null and void.
- If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
- The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in a prize’s value due to exchange rate changes.
- If the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, acts or omissions of third parties, technical failures or anything which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law and subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and prior notice may be given where it is reasonably practicable to do so.
- Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
- Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non- Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) and any related third-party companies and affiliates including prize providers, exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
- Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
- The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at https://www.smart.com.au/resources/privacy-policy/. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter may disclose PI outside of Australia (see the Promoter’s Privacy Policy for more details), and cannot guarantee that any overseas recipient will not breach the Australian Privacy Principles. By entering the promotion entrants consent to the overseas transfer on these terms as permitted by the Australian Privacy Principles and agree that the Promoter is not liable in this regard.
- These Terms and Conditions may be changed, varied, modified and/or deleted (subject to the applicable state and/or territory trade promotion legislations, approvals, and applicable notification requirements) by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion at any time and from time to time. The Promotor will notify participants where reasonably practicable. Each Entrant irrevocably and unconditionally accepts any such changes, variations, modifications and deletions.
- For any questions concerning legal interpretation of these Terms and Conditions, the laws of New South Wales, Australia apply to this Promotion, except to the extent that a different state or territory’s trade promotion legislation applies.
- If any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions becomes or is invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any respect under applicable law, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired and such invalid, illegal or unenforceable provisions shall be deemed severed from these Terms and Conditions and the Promoter shall be entitled to replace such severed provisions with such other provisions as it may deem fit.
- These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. In the event of any inconsistency between the English language version of these Terms and Conditions and any other language version, the English language version shall prevail.
