Our priority is ensuring you have an easy and seamless transition of your salary packaging arrangements.
There is nothing you need to do for the transition of your account to Smart – we will take care of everything for you. We will work closely with your current provider and your employer to ensure your salary packaging arrangements remain unchanged, and there's no interruption to your salary packaging during transition.We’ll communicate with you at each stage of the transition so please make sure to check your inbox regularly (and make sure to check your junk/spam folder too!).
If you have a salary packaging card and/or fuel cards with your previous provider, these will be cancelled, and new Smart cards provided to you.
We will post your new card(s) to the address you have on file with your previous provider. Now is the time to check that your address details are correct. If your address has changed, please advise your previous provider immediately so that it can be captured in our transition.
If you have included a salary packaging card for living expenses and/or meal entertainment in your salary packaging, this will automatically be replaced by a Smart Salary Packaging and Meal Entertainment card.
To avoid any delay in receiving your funds, we recommend you try to clear your balance before your card is closed.
We will email you with full details of your new card.
The Smart Salary Packaging and Meal Entertainment Card is a prepaid, reloadable Mastercard issued by EML Payment Solutions Limited ABN 30 131 436 532 AFSL 404131. Please consider if this product is right for you. Read the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) and the Target Market Determination relating to this product before making any decision. If you have a novated lease, we will email you with full details of the changes to your leasing products.
Existing fuel cards will be cancelled and replacement cards will be sent. Your cards should arrive before your existing ones are cancelled, but if you have not received your cards and you need to fill up with fuel, please keep the receipt from the service station, log in to your Smart account and follow the steps to make a claim for a reimbursement.
If you have Roadside Assistance, it will be cancelled and replaced with Smart Roadside Assistance provided by NRMA.
If you have comprehensive insurance cover with your current provider, it will be cancelled and replaced with comprehensive insurance from Vero Insurance, a member of the Suncorp group, unless you decide to source your own comprehensive insurance.
