Q: How could a novated lease help me save?

Your finance and running costs are bundled into one simple payment each pay. Meaning expenses for things such as fuel, maintenance, insurance and registration are already budgeted in your running costs. You don’t pay GST on these expenses, which means you pay less money on costs you’re already paying.

Q: Do I need to drive a lot?

No, you can drive as little or as much as you like. There’s no minimum km requirement with a novated lease.

Q: How is a novated lease paid for?

Smart makes deductions directly from your salary to pay your lease. The deductions continue until the lease ends, or you leave your employer.

Q: Is the car registered in my name?

Yes. A novated lease is just like purchasing a vehicle with a bank loan, so your car is registered to you, and is yours to drive as you choose.
